What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a revolutionary teeth straightening solution that uses clear, removable aligners to gradually move your teeth into the desired position. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign is virtually invisible and offers numerous benefits over metal braces.

Benefits

There are many benefits to choosing Invisalign over traditional braces. For one, the clear aligners are nearly invisible, which means you can straighten your teeth without anyone noticing. Additionally, the aligners can be removed for eating and brushing, so you don't have to worry about food getting stuck in your braces or spending extra time cleaning your teeth. Finally, Invisalign typically requires fewer office visits than traditional braces, making it a convenient choice for busy patients.

How it works

Getting started with Invisalign is easy. During your initial consultation, your dentist or orthodontist will evaluate your teeth and discuss your treatment goals. They will then take an intra oral or Impressions of your teeth and use them to create a personalized treatment plan. You'll receive a series of custom-made aligners that you'll wear for a specific amount of time (usually about two weeks) before switching to the next set in the series. Over time, your teeth will gradually shift into the desired position.

Treatment timeline

The length of your treatment will depend on a number of factors, such as the severity of your case and how well you comply with wearing the aligners as instructed. Typically, Invisalign treatment lasts anywhere from 6-18 months. During this time, you'll wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, brush, and floss.
